Not too long ago, I found myself in a peaceful place on the beautiful island of Tenerife. My room was simple, just a bed, desk, chair, and a big window with a view. It was neat and tidy with only the essentials.
Life was calm and easy there. I woke up early, meditated, exercised, read, surfed, played music, worked a bit, and more. I paid attention to what I ate, slept well, and felt relaxed.
Before falling asleep, I imagined good things happening, and repeated, “My life is getting better and better” until I slept.
This way of life led to a relaxed and smooth routine. The only worry was when there were no waves to surf.
Then I moved to Berlin. My routine changed a bit. I slept longer, meditated, exercised less, looked for a van, worked part-time, hung out with friends, ate out, and biked around the city.
My focus wasn’t as strong as it was in Tenerife. Berlin’s energy was different, and I felt it in how things looked and how I felt.
I realized that for many people, especially in big cities, creating what they want is hard. There’s just too much happening.
Too many things to do, people to see, and things to have. The brain gets overwhelmed, trying to make sense of it all.
Imagine opening too many tabs on a computer – it slows down. That’s how it feels when there’s too much going on around us.
We’re bombarded with information all the time. We lose track of what we want and get caught up in our daily lives. It’s tiring.
But there’s a way to be creative in these circumstances:
- Simplify: Get rid of things you don’t need. Do less and keep only what matters.
- Find Quiet Time: Spend time alone in silence or nature. It’s like hitting the reset button.
- Focus on One Thing: Know what you want most. Focus on it when you sleep or wake up at night.
- Feel Your Emotions: Emotions are like energy vibes. Pay attention to how you feel because it affects what you create.
Remember, your reality comes from you. Everything happening in your life is your creation!
You are that powerful!
