Every time you want to make something happen, it comes with a cost. This cost can be paid in two ways:
- Time: The hours and days you put into it.
- Energy: The effort and strength you give.
Usually, it’s a mix of both – you spend time and use energy to create things.
You can make almost anything come true if you’re willing to spend enough time and energy on it.
But in our world, we’re often taught that the cost is only about money. This is a basic way of measuring things. It’s like the system’s way of deciding what’s valuable. And strangely, it’s also a way to see who believes in something enough.
Let’s look at an example:
Imagine a guy named Billy. He dreams of becoming a great surfer.
Now, here’s the twist: Billy doesn’t know much about surfing, and he lives in a place far from the sea with no waves at all.
First things first, he decides he wants to be a surfer and becomes clear about it.
In the world we live in, most things need money (for equipment, training, traveling, etc.). Let’s say Billy doesn’t have a lot of money, but he has a lot of time and energy.
If Billy really believes in himself and his dream – even when things get tough – he can overcome the challenges (let’s call them “belief tests”). Then, it’s all about using his time and energy:
- Finding a Way: He figures out how to get to the ocean and waves.
- Getting Help: He finds someone to teach him or a team to join.
- Getting the Gear: Even with little money, he manages to get the necessary equipment.
- Practice, Practice, Practice: He spends a lot of time and energy practicing and learning.
As time goes on, he invests more time and energy, bringing him closer to his dream of riding the waves.
No matter where you start, your strong belief in what you want drives you. The more you believe in yourself, the more you realize the abundance of time and energy you have inside to make your dreams real.
Guess what? This belief not only works inside you but also outside in the world. If you keep picturing yourself achieving something in your mind, the world often adjusts to help you achieve it. Your inside belief influences the outside world, like two partners in a dance – time and energy investing together.
Remember to keep yourself healthy and full of energy. This gives you the power to do the things you want, no matter how strange they may seem to others.
You’re here to experience life fully. You’re amazing, and your journey is unique.
