The Power of Asking “The Questions” for Positive Change

by Jay Bialecki – You are awesome!

Introduction: Recently, I was reminded of a concept I knew but had forgotten to utilize. As the famous anonymous saying goes, “You either use it or lose it.” This applies to skills, abilities, and knowledge. What’s the crucial element here? Let’s explore that.

The Source of Transformation: “Being You, Changing the World” by Dain Heer: Back in October 2020, during my time in Faro, Portugal, I encountered a life-changing book by Dain Heer, titled “Being You, Changing the World.” This revelation came from a chance meeting with an individual who had chosen to live without money. His declaration that the book transformed his life intrigued me enough to dive in.

I promptly acquired the book and immersed myself in its teachings. The method of posing open-ended questions to the Universe resonated with me profoundly.

Positive Shifts Unleashed: Applying this method, I witnessed a remarkable transformation in my reality:

  • I spent 7 enriching months in the Canary Islands.
  • Engaged in invigorating surfing adventures.
  • Achieved increased earnings while working only 2 hours daily.
  • Formed meaningful connections with remarkable individuals.
  • Embarked on a DJ-ing journey, organizing memorable Sunset Sessions parties in Tenerife.
  • Embraced a nomadic lifestyle, living in my car while exploring new horizons.

This string of enriching experiences testified to the power of asking the right questions, contributing to my journey’s fulfillment.

A Halt in Progress: However, my return to Europe brought unforeseen personal challenges that disrupted my equilibrium. I lost sight of “the questions” amidst life’s complexities. Consequently, my enthusiasm dwindled, and I ceased to explore new prospects. Regrettably, I ceased being curious, a decision I later recognized as a significant oversight.

The Awakening: Recently, my reconnection with Dain Heer’s teachings through his podcast “The Possibility Explorer” rekindled the significance of “the questions.” A single episode served as a reminder of their potential.

Recommitted to this method, I transcribed the questions and applied them that very day. Astonishingly, their effectiveness was reaffirmed almost immediately.

A Reinvigorated Path: The application of “the questions” prompted an instant breakthrough, offering clarity on how to enhance my life’s enjoyment. Confronted by stagnation and monotony, I embraced the guidance provided by these questions. The impulse to change my current circumstances compelled me to reach out to my circle of friends. Their enthusiastic response validated my decision.

Discovering New Vistas: Embarking on a walk familiar to me, I embarked on the practice of asking “the questions.” Surprisingly, this transformed my experience. Previously unnoticed details sprang into focus, reinvigorating a well-trodden path.

Lost in the process, I embarked on a leisurely stroll at 5:30 PM, only to return at 2:30 AM, exhilarated by the journey.

The Unveiling: “The Questions” Revealed: Curious about the nature of these transformative questions? Here they are:

  • “What else is possible, I have never considered here?”
  • “What is going to take to change this?”
  • “What would it take for a miracle to show here?”
  • “How does it get any better than this?”

Guided Exploration: Importantly, refrain from answering these questions; it’s not your role. Pose the question, embrace what emerges without judgment, and relish the journey. The key lies in perpetual repetition.

Balancing Act: While boundless possibilities beckon, remember to savor your current experiences. Revel in the present rather than continually seeking new avenues. This balance ensures a holistic and fulfilling journey.

Conclusion: Rediscovering the transformative power of “the questions” has been a revelation. Dain Heer’s approach to questioning the Universe has sparked renewed enthusiasm, guiding me toward positive change. Through these questions, I have harnessed untapped potential, rekindled curiosity, and navigated life’s twists with newfound resilience.
